Around here, Friday is usually reserved for pizza night—because who doesn’t love a weekly pizza tradition? But when Hurricane Helene gives you a four-day weekend, pizza night can be any night (or every night, let’s be honest). And while my pizzas may not win beauty contests, they sure do taste like victory!

Over the years, I’ve collected a few kitchen gadgets that make the pizza-making process smoother and way less messy (you don’t even want to know how many times I’ve dropped dough on the floor). Below, I’m sharing my favorite tools for pizza night and where to grab them, so you can make your family pizza nights a breeze too. Scroll through for the links and save this for your next pizza night planning sesh! 🍕👩‍🍳

1. Cookbooks: My Dough Bibles

I’m a cookbook hoarder, I admit it. I’ve been loyal to the same dough recipe for a while now, but these cookbooks have seen me through many pizza experiments (some more successful than others). If you’re looking for inspiration or just want a reason to add another book to your kitchen, I’ll link some of my faves here. Dough-making is an art form, and having a great guide is key!

2. Babadoh Containers: Dough’s Best Friend

These Babadoh containers are a game changer. After making a double batch of dough (because why not?), I pop them in the fridge for the second rise. I take them out about two hours before it’s time to cook, and voilà—perfect pizza dough every time. Plus, they’ll keep the dough fresh for up to three days, so you can spread out your pizza nights. No judgment.

3. Lloyd’s Pans: My Pizza-Saving Heroes

Forget about trying to transfer dough onto a pizza stone (been there, done that, failed). Lloyd’s pans make it sooo much easier to handle the dough, plus cleanup is a breeze. They’re also great for getting that crispy crust that we all want but rarely achieve. Seriously, these pans have saved many pizzas from doom in my kitchen, and fires in my oven.

4. Blendtec Blender: My Trusty Sidekick Since 2014

My Blendtec blender and I have been through a lot together. A piece broke once (wayyy out of warranty), and they still sent me a replacement. If you’re looking for a blender that lasts forever and has a company that actually cares, this is the one. Bonus: it’s not just for pizza sauce—I use it for smoothies, soups, and even the occasional margarita.

5. Kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer: The MVP of My Kitchen

Oh, my beloved Kitchen-Aid stand mixer. This thing handles everything from pizza dough to cookie batter like a champ. Honestly, I don’t even remember what life was like before it—it saves so much time. I’m even thinking about investing in some attachments (hello, pasta and fresh juice?!). Worth every penny, and it’s basically a kitchen heirloom at this point.

6. Graza Olive Oil: Drizzle of Perfection

Graza olive oil is a new addition to my pizza night lineup, and trust me, it’s chef’s kiss. I drizzle this liquid gold on the crust before baking for an extra layer of flavor. It’s the secret ingredient in my sauce, and it’s also amazing as a dipping oil for that perfectly crispy edge you get with Lloyd’s pans. If you love a rich, flavorful olive oil, this one’s for you.

7. Dough Scraper: The Unsung Hero

This dough scraper is the tool I never knew I needed. Not only does it make dividing and moving dough super easy, but it’s also great for cleaning up the inevitable flour explosion on my countertops. This little tool saves a lot of headaches when you’re in full pizza-making mode.

Bringing It All Together (With a Glass of Wine, Of Course)

The best part of pizza night isn’t just the pizza—it’s hanging out in the kitchen with a glass (or two) of wine and chatting with my kids about their week while we cook. The process gets easier every time, and honestly, making pizza by hand feels good. Even when it’s not perfect, it’s still made with love. 🍷🍕

So, what about you? Do you have a pizza night tradition with your family? Or maybe you’re thinking of starting one? Let me know in the comments or shoot me a DM if you’ve got questions. I’m always happy to chat about pizza!
